Welcome
Reaching out for help is the best thing you can do for yourself. Together we will find ways to strengthen your ability to heal in a supportive environment without judgement. Sometimes life puts obstacles in our way, and it can become difficult to find safety within our body and mind.
The healing you seek has always been within you. Therapy helps you access your innate ability to heal and can help lessen the internal activations that cause distress, while increasing the possibility of feeling more joy. Life is so much better on the other side of the pain.
I know that healing is possible. I have learned that humans are born with the drive to seek safety, and we all have the capacity to heal over and over again.
I want to share what I have learned and help my clients find their way to their own ability to heal from within and feel safe in their body, mind, and the world around them.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care. My therapy practice is inclusive of every culture, religion, spirituality, ethnicity, race, and ability. If you choose to work with me, I will be there for you with compassion and without judgement. You are a unique person with unique needs, and we will treat your therapy goals based on our agreed-upon plan.
Fees and Insurance:
Individual therapy rates $250-$350 for 50–60-minute session. I offer a sliding scale on a case-by-case basis depending on income and ability to pay.
EMDR session rates reflect the timeframe of the appointments. Some EMDR sessions are scheduled for 90–120-minute sessions and the rate will be adjusted based on our agreed-upon plan. You will be informed of the EMDR session rate upon scheduling the appointment.
I do not accept insurance. I am an "Out-of-Network" provider. Most insurances have out-of-network benefits that cover 50-100% of the session fee. Please contact your insurance company to determine the specific benefits of your policy including your deductible and reimbursement percentage. If you choose to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, I will provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to get reimbursed directly. Superbills include your mental health diagnosis and service provided, but do not contain any private details about what was discussed during therapy sessions. Therapists who provide Superbills can be audited by the client’s insurance company and evidence of approved treatment protocol can be requested that may include diagnosis, treatment plan, symptoms, and justifications for continued therapy. I do not provide reimbursements for services rendered. Any reimbursements are between you and your insurance company.
Private pay allows you to maintain greater privacy and confidentiality, as well as the ability to schedule therapy sessions on your own terms. Payment is due in full on the date of service. I accept credit card and Venmo.
Good Faith Estimates/No Surprises Act:
As of January 1, 2022, psychotherapists and other healthcare providers are required by law (Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act) to provide patients who do not have health insurance or are not using their insurance a “good faith estimate” of costs for medical services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate from your provider at any time. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill. A formal diagnosis is required for the “Good Faith Estimate” and for clients who intend to submit claims to their insurance company for reimbursement. You can read more about your right to a Good Faith Estimate at the following website:
